Police Welfare

The Police Welfare section provides information about various schemes, facilities, and support systems available to officers and staff. These include:

Under the Maharashtra Police Family Health Scheme, a panel of private hospitals has been approved to provide quality medical treatment to police officers, staff, and their families.


The list of empanelled hospitals for the current period is now available under the тАЬFlashтАЭ section on the official website of the Director General of Police, Maharashtra тАФ https://www.mahapolice.gov.in

Personnel can visit the website to check the updated list of hospitals included in the panel for availing medical facilities under the scheme.

Amendment to Police Welfare Fund Rules

As per the approval granted by the Government, Home Department Letter No. PDUF-0372/30035-Pol-7, dated 22/02/1980, and in accordance with the Government Letter, Home Department No. Sankirn-0412/Pr.Cr.225/Pol-7, dated 04/05/2012, incorporating the amendments decided in the meetings of the Central Police Welfare Fund Committee into the original rules of the Maharashtra Police Welfare Fund Rules, 1980, the Police Welfare Fund Rules-2024 have been issued through the reference memorandum.


Considering all amendments made from the year 2024 till date, along with the changes over time, the revised Maharashtra Police Welfare Fund Rules-2025 have been prepared and are enclosed herewith.
